A Strange Behavior in Complete Chronicles

I installed Complete Chronicles in french. It suddenly changed without my help to english.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have not had that particular problem with either the Gog version or the CD version..new one, I guess
Anyone else? Are you using XP, 7, 8, Mac, Linux, Unix and was it a direct download or the original CD version?

If you're on Windows Vista or higher, try running as admin. Those systems prevent writing to the Program Files directory by default (where Uru is installed into). Instead everything will land in some AppData subfolder.
Now it is possible that the language is written into a general configuration file in the install folder. Because Uru can't modify it, it creates a fresh one elsewhere, with the default settings - including English as default language.
TL;DR: Try to run Uru as admin.
