The post by Deirdre_1 Thoughts From Relto...... strongly brought this poem to mind that I'd posted to the GoG forum some time ago. I guess you might consider URU to be kind of a shared dream, and unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to "wake up" all too soon... :(

Stardust Dreams

The stars like dust are in my eyes
While lying here and wondering.
Space, time, and worlds away,
Through halls of thought I'm wandering.

Places found and sights abound
And visions fill my head,
Of people, friends and memories
That others thought were dead.

The doors of past and future
Are waiting there for me,
To pass beyond and look upon
Worlds that yet may be.

Or near and distant yesterdays
Awaiting my recall.
Everything I've ever known,
Just branches off the hall.

The stars like dust are in my eyes,
And magic in my hand.
But visions sad or beautiful,
By morning turn to sand.

R.V.B.

Many years ago, I woke up one morning with this running through my head. As the dream shattered and began to fade, I tried to gather the shards... I'm still not sure that I found all of the pieces and put them together properly...

Here is the link to the original posting, comments and story: Stardust Dreams

Like Deirdre, I've found URU, the various gardens, and Relto in particular, to be a wonderful place to simply sit and think, or to go to as a refuge from the day-to-day trials that real-life brings. I was sitting on that same bench in my Relto when I was moved to compose One Last Purr. I was able to immediately share the first draft with some of my URU friends via Ki-mail, and later posted it for a time on the Greeter's Pub viewer.

And while I'm at it, I might as well point you to another to another of my composition postings on the GoG forum:

I'm listening right now. Beautiful. :)

You are very talented. These pieces capture Uru.

Loved the music! Beautiful! It would have been wonderful to hear you play a whole concert in the cavern.

What Tai'lahr said! I keep going back and playing them again.

And videos. You should make music videos! Or find a collaborator. I was just in Eder Gira with these playing and oh my.
