Yeah, um, sure... no problem, ces. You're welcome. Just, you know, keep it on the down low, and don't tell anyone where you got it, k?

I wrote my letter, stamped it, went to the nearest post box only to find out that it had been blown up by fireworks, and then went to the post office to finally set my letter on its journey to the United States. :P

Last night, Marten said he thought that if we had about a hundred more letters, he believed it would guarantee the success of MOUL, so.... I'm just here to bump this thread for those who may not have seen it, yet.

I'd also like to point out that not everyone in the cavern comes to the forums, so please encourage your friends in the cavern to write letters, too. Tell them they can find this thread by simply typing http://rel.to/letter :D

EDIT: I just went into the cavern to send out a KI msg about this, and someone I sent it to told me that they'd received one from Marten last night. (I guess Great Minds DO Think Alike) Anyway, look for one of our messages in the cavern - they both include the above information - and pass it along to everyone you know. Thanks!

Not to be naggy, but did you get permission from Mr. Lewin to post his email for all to see? Marten didn't just dig up Trent's information, and tell us all to swamp him with mail, he got direct permission to share the contact information with us as part of a coordinated effort.

Also, Blake Lewin is no longer directly involved with Uru (note the "New Products Group"), and is likely NOT one of the people Trent was thinking of when he said he'd get letters to the right people if needed.

 Alas, once again my enthusiasm outweighs my common sense. But, at the risk of sounding pessimistic, judging by the level of interest I've seen here, I doubt anyone's e-mail or snail mail box is going to be too swamped. <sigh>

In any case, did you see the "unofficial survey" Mr. Lewin was taking by e-mail? Sure, things may have changed since November, but it indicated to me that he was still very much involved at the time.

Enthusiasm is a good thing! I'd just hate to see him get...erm...enthused out? Buried in enthusiam? Not that that's nessicarily bad either! It was just my thought that since we already had a solid 'in' to letter writing, and Blake probably gets a bajillion non-Uru related emails daily, that it'd be hard for him to hear our voices in his daily work.

Keeping up the letter writing to Trent is probably going to be listened to, because Trent is actively paying attention.

:D thanks everyone above to write letters & bump this thread, otherwise i wouldn't have noticed it & feel the urge to do also, i guess. :D

i have my letter typed in concept, and will be writing by hand it tomorrow and also mail it! (postoffice is still a common trip for me, how would i get otherwise all those parcels from overseas which i ordered online ;-) but i'm glad MOUL is coming to me through the net).

my letter will be noticed (hope so) for its stationary and the wrongly put english (not on purpose, it's just not my native lang.), so it will be short, friendly and enthiousiastic.
you can add me to your list!

i like the multi-pronged way (with or without Blake Lewin) see post Tai'lar: http://www.mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=235238#235238
especially the invite friends thing  anyone knows GameTap&MOUL works with (intel)mac? i know a lot of people who would enjoy the game (but don't know it yet themselves), but they are mac-people.

Just be sure to look for a compatible video card or chipset. There are some Intel Macs (mostly laptops, I think) that won't run the game correctly in MacOS X because the hardware is not fully supported.
