Low or high, the KI number doesn't matter to me.

Yeah, it's all just nodes anyway...

I guess people can continue this poll but at this point, I think where 'stuck with the numbers we have'.

It’s interesting that no Greeter felt the need to vote Yes, considering that that was one of the most repeated reasons.

Hi, everyone, I just thought it might be interesting for some to read my story, my version of how I've experienced the whole MOULa closing resp. crashing and reopening ... :P

So, in brief, I've also got an invitation for beta testing MOULa by Chogon on Thursday evening (around 21:00 my time), though I really got to read it at about 22:00/22:20 or so ... Yeah, ok, they're very fast, I thought, wonderful, why not and at least participate for an hour or two ... I've prepared a fresh coffee and jumped right in lol ... I believe, you guess it already, I thus also got my beautiful low KI number, the irony being that I'm really the last to care about that lol (and I don't know anything about nodes and stuff lol, and stopped reading that thread when it came to those 'issues') ... 8)

Ok, I've met all our precious testers and started testing by first grabbing all the links and books in the city and everywhere, while keeping myself aware of all I know to be important to look at and into, as an experienced tester ... Mac mentioned that there's quite some stuff to be debugged and corrected, so it might take some more days to get this through and MOULa online, then he left (not really and for good, but I thought so lol), and with that information I followed suit lol, as it was already past midnight my time, and I don't stay overnight in a game without any obvious necessity or at least excitement, to continue testing and doing the journey the next day (yesterday) ...

I didn't want to contact and bother our diligent and heavily occupied Chogon on Skype lol, so, I didn't know that he and thus Cyan intended to pull this all through, and throughout the night even as it turned out, to bring back MOULa as soon as possible for all, and so I just logged in yesterday again, not knowing what they have done already, and completed my journey with my nice OpenUru 'Minkata PhysX testing list' at hand lol, when I read here on the forums Chogon's reopening of MOULa in the evening (my time), at that time I was already almost through and so I just completed it (Uru Prime only) ... What was good for me, to have done that again, was that I now know that I don't want to do it again lol, but that's something else ... :)

Yeah, what do I want to say with that, I just wanted to provide a neutral different view of this, and I'd like to emphasize the fact that Chogon/Cyan and our precious testers have done an awesome job to bring back Uru to the community that fast with as it seems having erased or improved on all those many bugs and glitches which had been accumulated and reported here over the last months or so, and as for my own experiences everything worked absolutely flawlessly and stable by now, esp. all those kickables and PhysX etc. lol ...

The majority of this great community is seeing it all as positive as possible and that's just wonderful ... So, on to very new beginnings and promising new developments, and with so many new explorers and also returning precious 'oldtimers' ... things can only get better ... and maybe 'The ending .....' ... you know what I mean ... Many blessings and have fun, everyone ... :D

Not sure if this is the right thread but following janaba's post, it's an opportunity to thank Chogon, all at Cyan, and all the testers for their hard work. I'd have done it after Chogon's post, where he said who had been testing, but we can't post there.

+1

And of course including our expert tester janaba - thanks for your interesting report, janaba!

I've been around since 2004 and still have my Kagi KI email for UU. Personally the length of the number doesn't matter as it's just a method for us to connect to the system and to each other. I will however miss being part of the UO neighborhood.

It's been recreated. Talk to Calum Traveler (KI#34810) about joining.

Or you can message me here on the fourms if I'm not online in cavern. We can set up a time to get you in.

Personally I don't care what my KI number is.

I purchased the original Myst off the shelf when it first came out does that count, and found page 301 in one of the Myst library books
[Reveal] Spoiler:
PhotoDeluxe 4.1  :D :P

as far as a low number is concerned, it would be nice but not necessary.

A low KI number is fine and all, but I don't really care. I'm old!

I'm quite sure you're nowhere near as old (and decrepit) as some of us here, Whil ;)
