After seeing the number of topics recently related to the D'ni language, I recently requested a new feature to be added to these forums. You can now use these BBCode tags to write in D'ni:

Code:
[dni]...[/dni]

It uses the official Cyan D'ni font which I host over here -> http://uru.orangehairedboy.com/font. The font is available for you to use on your own site as well.

I think there should be an effort to standardize the way we use D'ni on the web...and I hope this will be a start. When I visit a site I shouldn't get a notice informing me that I should download and install a font. It's 2014 - we have the technology so let's use it!

A big thanks to Hannah for getting it implemented here on the forums! :)

How long will we have to wait for a built-in English translator for all the D'ni posts I'm sure we'll be seeing?

That didn't work... and it's not April 1. Hmm...

Well, that won't do. What browsers are you guys using? Brand and version please and I'll debug and fix it.

Nice!
Please tell us what browser (brand and version) you use for a D’ni script, so I can test it out myself on these forums.

Ah, I see what's going on...but this is something Hannah will have to fix. I'll let her know.

I use Chrome.

Edit: It won't work in Firefox and IE right now because of a permissions issue since the files were moved. Sorry I didn't know about that before I posted. I guess Hannah made a change earlier today from how it was which I didn't know about :)

It's a pretty easy fix. Sent Hannah the instructions but I wouldn't expect her to get around to it until tomorrow at the earliest :)

I'm using Firefox, version 31.0, on a Mac Mini with system 10.6.8.

Looks good to me! Honestly I'm surprised to see such low Chrome usage! Any reason you guys don't use Chrome?

It's provided by Google. I'd rather use IE5 than Chrome.

Lol true. I used to use Firefox back in the day because it was better than IE. But once z chrome came along and became better than Firefox I switched. I'll continue to use it while it leads the pack in terms of functionality and support, etc.
