Oh dear. You'll be missed, and I sincerely hope that this will be temporary, you'll recover, and we'll see you farther down the line. But chemo and radiation therapy are always miserable experiences, so I can only say to hang in there -- they end eventually.
I have an aunt who was diagnosed with throat cancer. The doctor told her, in so many words, to resign herself to dying. Fortunately, that particular quack wasn't the only doctor in the phone book. She went to see a specialist, and she went through many months of misery undergoing the same treatments you will.
Now, over a year after she was told she was going to die soon, she's doing very well and seeing a different doctor.
