Shorah everybody!

I really enjoy playing Uru live, and like to discover info about the D'ni civilization, kings, ages and other people. The history background is really what I seek in the Myst serie.

The thing is I get tired reading all this stuff on screen (there are so much to read! for Myst I to V it was OK because the content was limited) and I rather would like to read it printed. I think that would not be problem since few elements are necessary for progressing in the game itself (I have already finished the 's quest, and it's OK if I fall on some spoilers about the extension)...

Is there a place where I could find a copy of these documents (in PDF for instance), in English or in French? Even not up-to-date it is OK, I guess new writings appear if the game is still under development...

Thanks a lot!

Woodruff

You can get the texts themselves in the *.loc files in the dat folder. There are some XML tags, but you can format them however you like.

Alternatively, you can find PDFs in Ainia’s All Things Uru site (4th shelf).

I know your pain. I suggest http://www.guildofgreeters.com/ or http://rel.to/

Have fun!

Hi woodruff...

I think what you are looking for is found on Ainia's Relto [online]
By a quick glance through the shelves most [if not all] books seem
to be in pdf. format. So a good source of stuff to start with...
