I've assumed I know how this works, but it's time to make sure.

If I go to a Gahreesen book in a Bevin linking room, it takes me to *my* hood's Gahreesen instance. Regardless of what Bevin I start in. This is slightly annoying, because if I'm directing a newcomer to that book, I can't follow him through and lead him to the KI machine.

I believe the new Takotah tablet works the same way. (It has a "share" glyph in the bottom corner, so you *can* follow someone to his home hood City; but that's not what happens by default.)

Does this conform to your understanding?

Yea, if there is a share symbol you can bet that you'll go to different instances if you don't share, unless of course you are both members of the same hood. Now if it is a Yeesha symbol you'll have to always share as that is in a personal instance.

im not sure if they have fixed it, but the share feature on the tokotah bahro stone in the linking room isn't quite working.

i spent most of my day stuck to it ;)

once it does work, you should be able to go to an instance of the city that is of the other player...

If you get stuck while attempting to share the book, open your KI and close it to release yourself. Or open your Relto book, click on share, then put it down without sharing. You will be free to move without the share icon following you around.

WARNING: This technique does NOT work when you are stuck from merely trying to link without sharing.
