Two new things I’ve noticed on the site that I haven't noticed any posts about. Firstly the new ’fast-tracked’ age now has a name – Minkata.
Now why it’s in the ‘T’ section of the site is anyone’s guess, but maybe just because they didn’t have a name for it?
According to Cate and Nick it’s a large desert age that has some strange features/properties (have a look over the last week’s worth of chat logs for the references).

Also it would appear that Payiferen is that desert Museum Age, as its final phase five test is scheduled for this Saturday (24th March). Now before someone says I’ve got the phases wrong, it’s further on than Tetsonot, so more likely to be next.

EDIT: Other additions: Ahnonay Temple "phase 5 approval" scheduled for 4/21

Minkata, huh? That's gonna be weird, I have a good online friend who goes by the moniker 'Mintaka', and I'm sure this will be a source of many typos for me.... ;)

But, neato! Good catch.

"Mintaka" is the name of a star (in Orion's belt). I've seen it frequently, so I'll be making this mistake too. :)

Other additions: Ahnonay Temple "phase 5 approval" scheduled for 4/21... (does that mean release, or the last phase before release? I think the definitions have drifted.)

That's the last approval before an Age is looked at to be released. I.e. if that passes they will look to approving it for release.

Well this seems to confirm my post earlier today that I thought the upcoming pod age was Payiferen due to some linguistic nuances. :) Thanks for backing it up with the DRC report.

Yeah, I had a similar feeling to you, Tetsonot just doesn’t sound like a desert!

It also seems to have similarities to some linguistic points in D'ni that refer to dry or lack of flow...just thought you would like to know.

Mintaka III is also the name of a planet with proto-vulcan humanoids who almost killed Capt. Picard (Star Trek TNG)

They also used to worship the "Overseer"...

Overseer ... Yahvo ... connection? ... nah....

Jog my memory... Was Eder Gira II on that list before?

Plus, it looks like they got the water problem in Ahnonay figured out.

:)

Yes, but I don't think it was suspended. :(

What exactly is a 'stability report'?

Well, it's a report that will confirm whether or not Ahnonay is... stable...

(... runs away very quickly...)
