It could be a reflection of some lights blinking on the outside of the pod.

Great idea. But the Maintainer markers in Teledahn and Edar Delin pulse at 9 blinks per minute. The "eyes" blink at 34 blinks per minute. Doesn't rule out the possibility, but it seems to me the "eyes" aren't a marker.

Of course I don't know why the Maintainer markers blink in the first place. Maybe there are different meanings for ON, OFF, and pulse rate. Although, I doubt it. Anyone have any insight on that?

Still don't know why Rils, Nick and the Great Mustache didn't at least look at what was out there.
