It's it a bit odd, that just as we are all starting to wear our Yeesha Shirts to "communitcate" with the Barho and show them we're friendly the DRC release Guild T-Shirts ?

I'm taking the "Backpack" side.

That was so funny!

I'm quite fond of the "tropical print shirt" side myself.

I represent the "leather jacket" constituency.

Seriously, though...if it makes a difference, then it does. I'll stick with my non-visible support of some side or other. I'm not much of a banner-waver.

Hey, I would support the writer's guild, but I don't like that color shirt. ;)

I tried them all on, then decided to go back to my good ol' green tee.

I'm with Hawkin - my support is non-visible.

I must represent the Tie-dye faction. 8)

I do wear my Yeesha shirt when I need to "take sides" though.

Just an observation

I heard that the Bahro don't like the color red and the
Yeesha shirts have a red symbol and red fringes. kinda strange.

Red may have been the default, but you CAN change the color (of the fringes, anyway).

*hugs purple* :D

Personally, I'm using the colours of my Yeesha shirt to demonstrate support for my guild of choice. (:

Yeah, I think that pretty much sums it up.

The Guilds were cornerstones of the D'ni culture: A culture which did not exhibit a particularly benevolent attitude to the Bahro. Assuming that the symbology on the new Guild tees bears some correspondence to the original D'ni Guild "regalia" (I'm no expert, so only presume that it does), then it seems logical to expect the Bahro to view these garments as supporting further oppression of the Bahro.

On the other hand (since these are OOC forums, I can say this freely  ), if a bahro sees you wearing "offensive" clothing, what's the worst it can do to you? Cancel your Gametap subscription?

And I've reverted back to my non-committal blue denim shirt (like LuigiHann, I was following the way of the backpack for a while, but eventually remembered to shove it back in the wardrobe!).
