Does anyone know about this strange Minkata location?

They should be both available for Uru CC on the GoW site someplace with a real cool update to the soccer field 3.0

Id have no way of altering Cyan's existing mesh or texture to make the golf hole thingy's
If I did have a way of altering Cyan mesh and texture along with their permission, we would already have a few fan age linking books upstairs in the D'ni library or the Guild of Writers pub

Hmm... back before the Big Purge, I had created a marker-game that was a giant-sized croquet field in Minkata. It was based on the idea of using the soccer-ball--- all I really did was use two markers side-by-side to indicate the place of the wickets. If they actually existed, I imagine they'd be like the size of a soccer goal--- wide enough for an avatar to kick the soccer ball between them. And the field itself probably was approximately the size of a basketball court.

I always figured the easiest way to set it up, would be to pull columns from Jalak for the wickets... they wouldn't need to be arches, they could just be two columns side by side, and you'd kick the ball between them... bring in the beach ball from Relto, and you have two players--- one who uses the soccer ball, the other uses the beach ball.

I don't know anything about 3d modeling at all-- but that sure seems like a method where nothing needs to be re-skinned or created-- -just "repurposed" from other areas of the game.

a croquet mallet would require a new avatar animation, we did however figure out how to produce new avatar animations

but no one was ever able figure out how to add new avatar animations to an age or game engine properly that I know of

so I guess we could change the name to kick croquet

Well. generally, since I used the soccer ball, mallets wouldn't be needed; players would just kick the soccer ball. The giant-sized "wickets" would allow for that.

Gameplay would be based around croquet, but just as a guide.

Does anyone know about this strange Minkata location?
