That's a shame. It's just the DRC in-game then that can change a book.

Has anyone tried contacting a ResEng in game about it?

I spoke to ResEng B. Drechsel about a week ago in Beginner's. He told me that I'd have to catch up with Laxman or Engberg to request a Delin for a private hood. (I sent a kimail to Laxman with my request, but haven't had a response yet.)

Delin, you mean. There will ALWAYS be hoods in the nexus that have Tsogal.

Sorry, I mean Delin yes. I just logged in again. Not ONE hood with Delin can be found :-(

Very confusing. This afternoon The Meeting Places (1) had Tsogal but now at 7:38pm EST it has Eder Delin. (snip)

Now that is peculiar. Since the day the Delin book was put back in The Meeting Place, it has been the same book. If someone actually found Tsogal there instead, it must've been a very odd bug.

I had an interesting reply from Cyan support when I asked if I could have Delin book put in my hood.
This is what I was told:
Quote:
Thank you for submitting this request. At this time, the linking book in your
private hood will continue to point to Tsogal. This is not a game bug, and is
by design. However, in the future you may see Delin become available in
private hood instances. Stay tuned! :)

Now, I'm not sure what they mean by this, but I would like to think it means that new hoods could start to get either one or the other of the Garden Ages?

Two neighborhoods do not any longer have Linking books to Eder Delin: D'ni Museum of Art's bevin and The Meeting Place's Bevin. Instead, these two have Linking books to Eder Tsogal now.

Does anyone know of any other neighborhoods that may have Eder Delin books now?

Laxman never answered Ttreb's kimail, so he sent a copy of it to Nick White two days ago. Nick said he received it, but didn't have any Delin books. That was all he said. Why can't these guys ever give a fully-informative answer, even if it's just "Sorry, our policy forbids us from placing these in private hoods" or "You'll have to talk to Laxman directly"? What happened to all the Delin books, anyway? Did they vanish, or are there crates of the ones removed from the hoods sitting around?

I begin to smell an excuse for a sit-in ... :D

Nick visited Reverend Vader's Bevin this afternoon.

We now have an Eder Delin book available for public use.

(We'll do our best to make sure the neighborhood stays on the Public List.)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

Thank you, Most appreciated as I find Eder Delin a most interesting age so far.

(hmm... he said 'our regular scheduled programming' not just program... most perceptive...)

Nick dropped by the The Meeting Place hood early last evening, prior to his Negilahn expedition, and returned the Delin book. D'ni Museum of Art still has Tsogahl the last time I checked.

Thanks for the notices about new or renewed Delin books. I updated the initial posting accordingly. I also added Jazz's Bevin because of the info in a thread in the General Discussion forum

New hood with a Delin book: German URU's Bevin.

By the way, can anybody confirm that the neighborhoods Monkeyboy's Bevin and Spanic's Bevin have Linking books to Eder Delin? I have not been able to visit these hoods yet.
