I remember playing complete chronicles and thinking I didn't much like the circle cursor. So what happened to the old standard myst hand cursor? I miss it! I understand uru wants to be different that the single player games, but I liked the hand cursor a lot better than the circle.

Plus sometimes it is a little tough to figure out what your pointing at with the circle. With all the hands already in the game one more won't hurt, bring back the hand! :)

I think it a circle because not everything you click on makes you do something with your hand.

That and Uru isn't Myst.

I prefer the circle to the hand, the hand is getting tiresome.

I like the circle because it's relatively small compared to the hand, and it makes me have to watch a little closer for hotspot activity, which keeps me from missing things.

The current circle cursor I just noticed is that symbol for the tower rotation on Myst.

I totally agree with you. Did I ever hate the Myst 4 hand cursor in some of the harder puzzle like the spiderchair or the camodile puzzles. So much that I have never replayed Myst 4. And also did not like the Myst 5 interface.

I would prefer the hand to the circle. Wile the circle is smaller; the hand has more functions, like pull this, or grab that, and other functions. With the circle it has only one function and that is to tell you were you can do something.

All of which are moot in Uru given that when you select something an animation in the avatar makes the device work.

Yes! Bring back Ye Olde Grabbie Hande! (tm)

I thought the hand cursor in Revelation was a bit too big, but otherwise I loved it! It'd be awesome to be able to tap on things in Uru :)

Like tapping your fellow explorers, each time followed with an 'ouch', or ' stop touching me' remark!
