we have all talked about perhaps having a link to the top of the tent in the Cavern for those of us who cant seem to make it up "the rope", or who have to try several times before making it up the rope.

Considering that the rope climb, like the balcony jump, are things not intended by Cyan and were only found out by player experimentation, I wouldn't plan on seeing Cyan do any work on them.

Besides, if you could just link up there, then that kind of defeats the whole piont of being there -- it's the challenge that makes it nice.

Yes it'd be like having all the solutions to the puzzles right there in front of you while you did them.... no fun

ok. it was just a suggestion.
like i said, it was just mentioned in passing while in the Cavern.
i hope the rope climb wont be removed, however.
it's still a challenge to the players.
Thx

Hrm. I can't get up on the pub floor, or the library floor or do any other fun bug. Since the tent climb is all I can do removing it would be disastrous for my image. So don't. ;)

I had kinda expected them to be removed once live started. They are bugs. Things that look really silly or wrong from an IC point of view.

Don't forget that the only reason we spend our time on the roof of the tent is because there is nothing better to do in UU. When Live is released I don't plan on spending my time sitting on the roof of the DRC tent chatting. Actually I was hoping that some time after live is released the tent would come down and access to the Guild Hall would be open.

Which would you rather have. I tent to sit on top of and chat or access to the Guild Hall.

Guild Hall?

Do you mean the Tokotah Building?

Well he said Guild Hall.

The Guild Hall (just so he knows) is the large building you see in front of you when you walk up the Great Stairs.

The Tokotah is the large building behind the tent (the Tokotah II is the building opposite of it).

ah, k. See I had the buildings wrong.
point is I'd rather get into the building that the tent blocks the access to. And I'd also like to see what the buildings front looks like. I'd like to see everything restored and the cones and DRC junk all gone. just my opinion tho.

Tokotah is one of my favorite buildings. I think it is beautiful. The DRC have already been in there. They just keep it locked up to keep us "safe".

But I would love to see the entrance lobby in the Guild Hall.

Thanks Whilyam. People get those buildings mixed up until they get it all figured out. I just wanted to make sure.

Now that the D'Mala shard has been given the Map board that was in the original Prologue it is much easier to figure out which building is which.

So true. A map always helps.

I was so used to seeing the map there, that it was a long time before I realized that it wasn't.

Now its back. Yeah. :D
