Is it me, or the bugs mentioned here are still present?

The gorahyan in the hoods currently has several bugs (long since ticketed), which have not been fixed as of Live 3.504.

1. The sphere behind the clock is not turning, even though the numbers are changing in the lens. (The sphere in CC did turn in synch with the lens display.) This is just a simple graphical bug, though, and does not affect the time.

2. The time is synched to local system time, rather than Cavern time. (Which would be a very odd thing for the D'ni to do. :)) That means that people in different time zones who look at the same clock at the same time will see different numbers.

3. If you alt-tab out of MOUL, the display will jump back by almost a full unit the first time you do so. Was the number correct before alt-tabbing, or after, or neither?

Back on topic (someone, please remove these off topic posts): a lot of bugs like this appeared between PotS and MOUL. For example, in the Great Zero activation event, the neutrino beam does not fire until after the startup sounds are complete (these events should happen concurrently). Also, in Ahnoying Sphere 2, the lighting on the interior of the landscape is broken. Someone was clearly fooling around in max and broke something at some point in the MOUL life cycle.

I asked because I wrote a D’ni clock (nothing fancy, it’s mostly an exercise), but I get the ‘wrong’ pahrtahvo, which according to BrettM’s post is actually the right one.

Ooh, I knew there had to be a precedent :) : Jehon’s Clock (discussion).

EDIT: my clock gives (more or less) the same time if I uncheck “Use pahrtahvotee...”, otherwise the result is quite different :?
