Absolutely spectacular.

I'm so glad fans are doing stuff like this. This artwork and rendering is incredible, and it gives me hope for the future of Age Writing.

Bravo. Keep them coming.

Well, really the future only... at least for a while. The current techniques used in 3D games and the pictures shown here are quite different. In 3D games, such as Uru, speed is first and foremost: 20-30 frames/second must be rendered. Ray-tracing technique is far more time demanding. The rendering time of the previous picture of the desert was about 0.5 minute. The preceding picture (inside the well) contains isosurfaces: the bricks in the wall are really bricks with rough surfaces and not simple geometrical boxes with pre-made plain texture. In this case rendering time sky-rockets: this particular picture took about 80 minutes to render. Of course, in games such precisity is not necessary, the techniques can be combined, only the nearest objects should be rendered precisely etc. Even so, about 100 times better processors would be required...

A place for animal sacrifice.....I stop for a moment to ponder what kind of beings might live around the area....and whether they might sacrifice other things as well (like me).....*looks around nervously*....yes, yes, quickly move away from this place. Those red blood stains look too fresh.

 Not far away there is a pile of the well-known huge bones, half-buried in the sand, a few of them are covered by interesting carvings... But I think we should hurry 'cause already the second sun is nearing the horizone.
[Reveal] Spoiler: Crossing a few dunes there is an interesting building ahead...

[Reveal] Spoiler: The odd-shaped building has six doorways or vaults with grates. Should walk around and check all grates.
