Does anyone know what the meaning of "Jakooth" (the page title) is?

Unless I miss my guess, it's the D'ni version of "fiery abyss".

And something that MAY shed light on the puzzle.. I think D'ni numbers also correspond to specific letters, too.

Jakooth is the D'ni version of the Devil.

There is a one-to-one correspondence between the letters and numbers, yes...

Here you can find the numbers corresponding to the letters. I tried "numbering" Jakooth, but some letters were outside of the 0-10 range. And we all know what the site does to numbers out of range.
Hold on, "Jakooth" = "Devil"? /me tries 6-6-6-6-6-6... nothing.

Alright, i'm curious (seeing as nobody has said anything about it yet and its making me wonder if the thing is functioning at all) but have you guys tried inserting the English equivalents of D'ni letters?

Alright, and just to be sure did it swap out the pictures to the approriate characters? I saw your post there but you didn't really reference that it changed.

I tried Katran, and the correct pictures did appear, but nothing happened.

And you did put the D'ni letters in the correct place, so they appear. Question is what to enter, because we have no idea what to try, except entering random names.

I've taken the puzzle down for the time being (seeing as views to the site dropped and for some reason the code started to degrade... I need to create a better cache for this site). It will return some time in the near future but in the mean time, I've posted in the off topic section a code to register for the current system on the site which will be used when the puzzle returns...

(i'm going to turn this site into an beta test for my primary project, but have it be slightly myst themed)

Code started to degrade..? Sounds quite strange.
By the way, I was somewhat waiting for a response from you regarding the puzzle's functionality, because it wouldn't make any sense to try to solve a broken puzzle. ;)

Yah, the code was a bit more complex than it appeared on the surface. There was a log saved on the server that saved the Key's you guys were inputting. It was supposed to only save the final combo (not 01000, 02000, 03000 but the final result: 06789. )it worked fine on my test server but apparently didn't work well on the live server.I tried to fix it and it didn't work... the log was something like 2500+ codes long and took forever to load.
