A while back over on the Uru Obsession boards, Ryuu Tenshi made a post mentioning a Myst fan had created a recipe for Chor Bakh (from the Book of Tiana), and wondered what other foods the D'ni might have eaten and wondering whether anyone else would be interested in recreating some of their recipes. It got some responses from interested players but eventually died about a month ago.

Meanwhile, while lurking on the DLF boards, I too was pondering chor bakh and the other foods available to the D'ni, and was wondering whether anyone else was too. After Ryuu joined the DLF, I found the post about Myst foods at Uru Obsession and suggested we consider creating a Guild of Caterers for like minded fans. It'd be a fun way for food-loving Myst fans to keep in touch with the Mystverse while Uru's dormant once more, with practical real world applications: delicious treats.

Would anyone here on the MOUL boards be interested in joining? We've yet to create a forum for it, but if enough people show interest we could get started on some real projects, like trying to get a food stand at this year's Mysterium in July, or sending Cyan a basket of D'ni goodies.

Anyone willing to give this a shot?

I have it on good authority that the D'ni were very fond of something very much like our pizza.

Thank you very much! I was going to request being included when we had grown to a fairly decent size, but this might lead to that happening sooner!

Thanks Arctic Wagon! :D

If anyone is interested, we're still looking for new members. One of our ideas is to send Cyan a food-basket, maybe chor bakh, to let them know we appreciate all the hard work they have done and are still doing for Uru.

It sounds like a great place to trade recipes
