As we all are aware Uru is back and the Society of Anthropologist, Psychologist, and Sociologists are returning as well, you may remember the Uru Life Discussion Series or Horatio's article on D'ni Circadian Rhythm, or my discussion with D'ni Xenophobia.

However, we would like to take this opportunity to revive the Society and hopefully former members can return or we can gain more members. We are located at DWPR.net (http://www.dpwr.net/forums/index.php?showforum=80) and are taking ideas for projects for this new incarnation of Uru.

To give a brief glimpse of who we are, we are a group that tries to take what we know about people and societies from real world science and apply it to Myst and URU as if they were real. We do so by playing a scientific group, but real science knowledge is not required (though Monkeyboy and I both have some of that), reading fun facts online or in newsweek works fine.

While our articles are always available on our forum they were also published in the GoMe newseletter. One in September (see pages 8-9) and one in October (see page 6-7) of 2008.

We are excited for you to join us.
