Hi poeple, Glad to be back in the cavern.

A quick question
Do you think I can reuse my old SAV files (dat and sfx) from the old uru live with MO:UL again ?
So I won't have to redo everything....again...( You know what I mean.....)

Yes. If you use the downloaded installer it just creates a MOULa directory (Program Files\Uru Live by default) and copies the patcher, then starts. If you cancel the patcher you can copy in your saved MOUL dat/avi/sfx folders.. and then when you rerun the patcher it'll double check them before starting up. Took me about 15 min with all of that.

Server's down so you can't log in anyways tho :(

To clarify, yes you can use those files. But you will not have your saved game progress from MOUL. That was saved server side and that data I'm sure is long gone.

The only thing those files will do is save download time.

Has anyone tried this approach on a Mac?

I was planning to run MOULagain under Crossover Games. The patcher worked find and I can find the new directory that has been created it, but when I went back to my original MOUL directory and started looking through it, there seems to be quite a lot of packages in there, some of which have Cider in them. Too complicated for me!
