 Post subject: The Other Marker Games

It just hit me today… Cyan gave us the KI source, which handles the Marker Missions. What's to say that we can't code the other two types of games (described in a book in Gahreesen) and then figure out how to submit them to Cyan for inclusion in a new version?

Nope, not until we have the actual engine code so that we can add the games. The Python API is just a thin wrapper around the engine stuff.

Of course those other game types were already implemented back in Prologue and UU... not sure why they stripped them out in MOUL.

We also can't do anything until we have a licence. The files Cyan gave us are useless until we know what we're allowed to do with them. :(

Technically you can still do this, by making an Age that has its own marker system written from scratch.

You wouldn't be able to use the system in other Ages, mind you, but it's a start.
