IMO: UU WORKED!
I suggest that this be set up (at first anyway) JUST LIKE UU WAS.

Then get a download able client avalable to the public, Use This existing shard as
D'mala alla MoulA.

Then after these things are set up and ironed out THEN start on all this other talk
thats going on about needing a new physics engine, and new ways of hooking up
lets say 'child shards' to an existing shard, which is on the main shard network grid.

My vision is this; ok say farther down the road a few new human D'ni 'restored'
the Guild Hall! You can now walk to it, now sence there wouldn't be enough room
to physcaly have all the guilds there, So there would be linking books at all the
Guild entrance doorways that would link (hyper link) you to the Guild Shard
(child shard) and Pub to that guild.

Hoods have each there own version of the city which would be a child shard if it
was taken out and put in its own ( child shard, plugin, addon download)
User ages could be added this same way!
A plugin could plug into any area or age of the game, Either opening up NEW AREAS
or by a linking book OR by a 'Bump Warp'
( your avy runs into a invisable non meshed trigger wall which could even be fog or myst! :D )
which would link you to the Age etc.

With each of these child shards ( or plugin, addons ) would be picked and downloaded
by the user and installed just like any other program is. Now the installer would have to
make a backup of existing python pak file, and then rebuild and pack the pythin pak file
while the addon plugin is being installed.
Or just add the ( addon plugin ) as its own Pak file next to the main client games
Pak file and somehow write code so that they can work as one with the game.
( This is the biggest problem area of adding anything to the game,
the Python pak file is a real son of a gun for alot of the coders. )

Another rout MoulA could go;

MoulA could go totaly decentralised!!! With NO main server but floating
free in the 'Cloud'! URU clients could act as both server and client actualy
it ALREADY DOES! when ever you invite someone to your age or relto
you are actualy on YOUR computer!


There are so many way to be creative and Im thinking on HOW things are going to be
emplimented and some ideas in this 'stage' of OS game machanic devolopment.
Don't forget about this IMO the most important is the emplemation and MMORPG
playability. Because no amout of coding and updating etc. will

I like UU's system because it allowed for diversity and choice and, in the new OS world, could allow servers to run custom mods to allow fans to go to servers with vastly different features to have a wide range of experiences.

I dislike UU's system in that it provided a field for community divisions, however I think these divisions are a fact of life in the Uru community. Too many people on all sides are just too stubborn. Better to let people maintain their distance and autonomy and facilitate people like me who will wander around the servers and choose what we like.
