AllMyst, is this the same ARG that had jpg symbols to decipher that led us to answers that we plugged in to the web address to discover more? The puzzle I'm thinking of I think led us to the first photo of Uru before it had its name. I've been trying to remember this forever, any more info you remember better than I would be so appreciated!
I was telling a friend about preafter for the anniversary and now Ive been trying to find old proof!

Sounds like Spyder's vault to me.

I seem to remember spending a good amount of time stuck on "Dolemite" as one of the answers for that one.

Dusting off the old memories, and I might be wrong...

The first (very fuzzy) images from URU I remember were Easter Eggs from the Rime Viewer in RealMYST back in in the year 2000. About that time Zandi (the real one!) paid for a billboard with a linking spiral on it.
There was also an ARG (tied into the 2nd MYSTerium I believe) that also showed a sneak peak of the game.
You can find full details here:

That post includes a still active link to a web version of Zandi's billboard.

There was also Tweak's{?} online puzzle that eventually revealed the screenshot of the Ercana pellet factory that appears on the box for URU: Ages Beyond MYST. I believe it was a website called MYSTree but I could be confusing two separate puzzles.

Hopefully other Old Timers and Historians can fix any of my mistakes.
