Happy to help! To get your numbers up quickly, how about all the songs by The Who that are used for the various CSI shows? Or is your aim to find old TV shows as well as old songs?
[Reveal] Spoiler:
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation "Who Are You"
CSI: Miami "Won't Get Fooled Again"
CSI: NY "Baba O'Riley"
CSI: Cyber "I Can See for Miles"

Thanks Acorn. I did use one of the CSI themes in my last show but there are indeed a few others.

I may combine Themes 2 with Bass Night 2 if I can't find enough tracks.

And now down to business - This Sunday (13th December) Radio Free D'ni will broadcast A History of Jethro Tull. In fact it may be part 1, there is an awful lot of Tull to cover in just one show....

Meet in the plaza - show will start at 1300 KI and run till 1500, that's 8 to 10 pm UK time (Western European Time), 9 to 11 pm for locations from Spain to Sweden (Central European Time) with some pre-show music so you can tune in your music players to the stream and post-show music for those interested in the tracks that didn't quite make the cut for the 2-hour show.

Put http://aegura.harriman4.com/8000.php in your browser to select the way you want to listen to us
or
plug http://aegura.harriman4.com:8000/stream.mp3 into your audio player of choice: proved to work with Winamp and VLC player.

I understand that the Urutunes site has a link for us too http://www.urutunes.com

This will be something of a part 1 - if you like it and want Mal to put part 2 together, let us know, on the plaza or here...

By the way, if you have an idea for a show or a setlist you'd like to share with us in the cavern, give us a shout and we'll help.

I know the time up to the Holidays is getting pretty full, and partly for that reason there will not be a full Radio Free D'ni Christmas show. But I have put together a few Christmassy tracks and will happily put on a show if there is some interest. Sunday 20th would the the next "normal" slot for us, but I can shift around a bit if needed. Let me know :)

H Nev'yn. The schedule is still on track, every other Sunday, except that we missed one show on the 27th. I realise, looking back, that I said that Sunday 20th would be "our next normal slot", which was misleading to say the least. Sorry about that  .

Edison is about to take an anti-Sabbatical, his employer has dragged him off on an extended trip. He may be able to join us from hotel rooms, but we're not expecting him to be able to do his customary fine job of mixing the show. Radio Free D'ni will still continue on schedule, but with solo shows, while we work on other possibilities for mixing. Bot Mal and I are constrained by connection speed which doesn't help.

So the next Radio Free D'ni show will be on Sunday 24th January. Title not decided yet, but with the sudden loss of Mr. Jones we might put a Bowie show together.

Thanks to you and the GoM for all your hard work and thanks to out listeners who keep us going :)

That would be nice. I would definitely tune in for something like that.

I would like to put a Bowie show together but I need your help. If you have a particular track or tracks that are your favourites and would like to have them part of the show, please let me know: if you have the track available on CD or mp3 that would be even better (PM me for transfer details). If you could include a line for each track about why it is memorable for you, that would be even better. I would then assemble a show consisting of your favourite tracks, and put your comments together to be read out during the event.

This way we can all join in a remembrance of David Jones aka Bowie in the cavern.

The Radio Free D'ni team does not have enough Bowie tracks on their own to put together a fitting show, and I thought this would be the best way to do it. We need maybe 20-25 tracks to fill a 2 hour show, less if some are longer than "3-minute single" duration.

Here's hoping to hear from you . . .

Just making sure you're still doing an event this week...If so, will try to have the post up tomorrow or Saturday, if you get back to me with more info.

Hello Nev'yn. Yes, this Sunday we will be broadcasting a David Bowie show, as mentioned above. I have already been contacted by two explorers with help, suggestions and comments, which has been of great assistance, and I will mention them during the show. If there is anyone else who would like to suggest a Bowie track or add some comment, memory or the like, then please PM me or contact Ed, Mal or myself in the cavern, and I'll include it in the show, and mention all who have helped.

What a fantastic playlist!!! and I'm glad to see that I didn't miss too much as I was tuning in a bit later, with the '210 New Career in a New Town', to be precise, esp. as we were lucky to have an almost equally long and awesome 'postshow' ... :P

Thanks again, Alan and all who added to this, and with an 'Enya History' tour or show ahead, I'm quite certain I'll be tuning in again ... :D

This show was a surprise hit, and we had well over 20 listeners, which was nice.

This coming Sunday (21st February) we will be broadcasting another show - currently we have a second Passport show planned, but for once I am finding it harder to come up with inspiriation. There will be a show, nonetheless, and I will let you know if inspiration fails for Passport and I go with another selection. See you on Sunday :)

As predicted, I have not managed to find enough inspiration to narrate a Second Passport show. I have moved it to a back burner and enlisted some help from our friend Janeerah, who has put together a list of Vangelis tracks - as I am a lot more familiar with Vangelis I have managed to get my head around the list and put a show together.

So tonight, Sunday 21st February, we on Radio Free D'ni will do a Vangelis show :) Ed will be here, but he has a heavy workload at the moment and may not be able to mix the show, in which case I will do the talking. Malaclypse will be with us on the plaza.

I understand that the Urutunes site has a link for us too: http://www.urutunes.com

By the way, if you have an idea for a show or a setlist you'd like to share with us in the cavern, give us a shout and we'll help.

We've had one suggestion already, and will be developing that in the weeks to come. Please keep them coming :)

Edison Rex, Malaclypse and AlanDJ - your Radio Free D'ni team.
