This coming Sunday, 19th January, on Radio Free D'ni: the second of two shows on the Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention bassist Dave Pegg, picking up from where we left him in 1983, but with some looking back. This show will include more of his work outside the two main bands, with some Nick Drake, a very prog-fusion bit of folk with Dan Ar Braz, tracks from the brilliant Jerry Donahue album Telecasting plus Ralph McTell, John Martyn, Dave Swarbrick, Simon Nicol and more recently Chris Leslie and P.J. Wright. All spicing up a plum pudding of Tull and Fairport tracks. How do we manage to pack it all into two hours? Well, there's the 30 minute pre and postshow sets too, of course, but we don't talk about, sorry, during those.
Join us on Sunday and see if we manage to peg out. As in Cribbage of course...
To find Radio Free D'ni, use the internet links posted next to Stream Links: at the top of the home page on http://radiofreedni.org
Or go to http://www.urutunes.com and choose the Radio Free D'ni button.
The stream will only be active for about four hours, starting from approximately 7:15 pm (UK) with a silent stream (that will still allow you to connect to it) followed by preshow music beginning at about 7:30 pm (UK).
The main show starts at 8 pm UK, 9 pm European (CET), 1 pm US Mountain Time (KI time) and will last for about two hours, and there will be about half an hour of postshow music to finish things off.
In the cavern, we meet on the plaza of the public instance of the City.
