Is it possible to have two people log on to the same account at the same time? I'd really really like to be able to do this, since we're planning on both paying for part of the account...

No, you can't log on multiple users to the same acfcount, but if you create a sub-account, it's definately possible.

To clarify, every Gametap account is allowed up to 5 sub-accounts for no additional cost. 2 of the sub-accounts can be online at the same time.

Sorry. 7 sub-accounts, not 5

To avoid confusion:
Only the US and Canada have the possibility for subaccounts.
The other 12 international countries do not have subaccounts and have to pay separate for each account.

They won't allow you to set up sub-accounts if you ask them via e-mail or something? :(

We're not getting GameTap in full, Maratanos, only a paid standalone client to allow us to play URU Live. GameTap world domination comes later. :)

What shall I do?

No email with instructions from Game Tap either in my email inbox or in my spam filter :(

Also, I have no idea of how to go about sorting this one out.. no information about problems like this was given in the announcement...

Well, I got the info, but it didn't work.

I e-mailed support. No answer.

GD is next, I guess.

Same here. It's really freaking me out. No E-Mail, and my account is still "Gametap Beta Account".

I just bought a whole year. This better not mess us.

You sign in on the GameTap website. It'll be on the first screen after you sign in.

Did you upgrade your account, Dadguy? If so, could you check if it says Beta Account?

This is my understanding as well due to non US / Canada players (like us aussies) being billed independantly of GameTap and the sub-account feature is a GameTap specific feature. Once GameTap expands to other countries the international players in those countries will then have access to ALL of the GameTap games and features including the use of sub-accounts.

We were supposed to have received the transition email by now?? When was this? Does this also apply to international players outside US and Canada as well?

I'm still yet to receive such an email :(
