For the first month, then $12, till Gametap launches in your country, whereby it will no doubt be cheaper! :!:

Sorry Marten if I was not clear in answering. I meant that I did contact a CM and the answer was plain and simple. No subaccounts.

There goes the bit of hope I had for my sister...

No, apparently it will be more expensive for internationals than the Gametap plans :(

Because of the additional costs required to set-up, administer, and cover VAT taxes for the first wave of countries, the standalone version of Myst Online will have a standard monthly price of $12.95 US. Once GameTap expands into each international territory, Myst Online will be offered as part of that country’s standard GameTap service plan.

Still good to see they've extended the 99c offer to us international folk though. Hope the transition email arrives soon!

For now, Erik. The group of 12 will get GameTap proper one day.

Dahn, the US treats its prices differently to everywhere else in the world as far as I know because each state is allowed to levy its own taxes on top. All GameTap US prices are without sales tax. (This would be illegal in the UK since all non-business prices have to include VAT).

Even if it's not that much cheaper, you do get ALLOT more for your money with full Gametap. That's if we get all the Gametap games...

You're right for the time being. Funnily enough I'm not bothered if we don't get the full GameTap. I couldn't ever see myself playing much beyond URU Live.

It shouldn't, the normal accounts just are blocked if you click on them now

Tells you to upgrade
