That's cool you can do this at work, Rusty. I got a 10 minute Updating, then stuck at 0 seconds. Now I have to go to work where I can't play. :cry: Hope to see ya'll tonight.

I can't play and I can't pay! I think our firewall is preventing me from getting to the GameTap back end. :)

(I don't have URU Live installed at work).

I just read Trent's (GameTap) post from the link provided by Veralun. Unfortunately, I think my problem stems from the fact that I had already created a paying account, but didn't think to use it instead of my beta account.

I'm hoping that I can get with GameTap support when they open for business today and get my game progress transferred from one account to the other.

Well, if that's the case, so be it. I just didn't realize until today that I had not been playing under my paying account, but on my beta one.

What's bad is that the game still recognizes my in-game name Pa'lua and won't let me use it to create a new avie in Live.

EDIT: hmmm...according to a GD post, I should have gotten an e-mail from GameTap about the transition on or about Feb 5, but I didn't get one.
And I receive all my other e-mail from GameTap, so it shouldn't have ended up in my junk mail stuff.

And I take it you can't delete the avatar because you can only sign in as a visitor?

How about you:

1. Call Gametap and cancel the existing paid account.
2. Convert the beta account to paid?
