Hi all,
I wanted to give you all an explanation of what is going on.

We realize that IC threads (in character, roleplay) threads are about Uru Live. However, we have decided to focus on a different perpective, an "Out of Character" perspective. We feel that these forums are an excellent place for us to focus on a perpective that does not involve roleplay. If you want to do IC (in character, roleplay) posts, the DRC forums are an excellent way to post in that perspective.

That doesn't mean that we can't get passionate about the game, we can and we should! Uru live is a wonderful game! We can talk about anything, the gameplay, the story, anything, but we would prefer that it not be in IC (in character, roleplay) perspective.

So - post away!

This notice is being posted as a reminder to forum members that the Myst Online - URU Live forums are OOC (out of character/cavern) forums. Members who wish to post in a mostly IC (In character/cavern) and roleplaying manner are welcome to head over to the DRC Forums, where many fascinating IC discussions are taking place.

Discussing Myst Online: Uru Live’s story is fine and encouraged. We realize that threads about Uru Live’s storyline sometimes have somewhat of an IC feel to them. However, the main nature of this site and forum uses a different perpective, an "Out of Character" perspective.

We feel that these forums are an excellent place for us to focus on a perpective that does not involve roleplay.

This is also to notify members that threads of a mostly IC or roleplaying nature currently active on the MO:UL forums will be closed and moved over to the Off Topic forum, where they will remain for reference purposes.

On a similar (but not the same) issue:
Fan fiction should please be tagged as FanFic in the title and posted in the Creativity. section. Threads with fan fiction are welcome, but will be moved over there.
