maybe they meant that we never actually see them harmed or see their virtual blood being let loose or the carcass remains or ... not that such things are ever graphically on display in other games or films or . . .

Very Nicely written review. Good to read and see. There are other good ones out there too. I thought it covered several interesting points and appropriately pointed out how very different (a definite plus) MO is generally.
