Start your weekend off with good friends, good times & good laughs!

Come listen to the audio of Billy Connolly!
7:30pm (GMT+1) = 11:30am (PDT) = 2:30pm (EDT) = 12:30 KI time

Later on, come listen to the audio of DANE COOK at
5:30pm (PDT) = 8:30pm (EDT) = 18:30 KI time
*Adult themed & strong language may offend.
*Parents may find this material unsuitable for children under 15.
*We are not the actual comedians that we play.
Our characters resemble the comedians that we enjoy listening to.

Please KImail the Guild of Comedy @ KI# 4862207 to request an invite to the GOC Bevin.

Hmmm, sounds interesting but do you have Billy Connolly's permission to broadcast this? If not, aren't there some SERIOUS copyright infringements going on?

We have their blessing.

Over 2 years ago, an idea to play a comedy CD with an avie resembling the comedian was born.

So, as for the legalities of playing copyrighted materials in a pay for service like MO:UL, I have taken precautions by writing to the comedians, explaining what Comedy Night is, and where the setting is at. And above all else, I asked for their permission, and also added that if they didn't want me to play their material, to please let me know, and I would honor their request.

Do we need to ask for an invite, or will the bevin be made public for the performances?

Yes, you will need to request an invite to the GOC Bevin to see the show.

The GoC Bevin is private, and because of some of the adult themed content, it is our decision for it to stay that way.

Invites are available by sending your name & KI# to the Guild of Comedy @ KI# 4862207.

The suggested audience age is 15 & up.

Hope to see you there!

Yeah, THIS isn't gonna get ugly...

Keep it civil please. All of you. I really don't want to have to lock an event announcement thread. If anyone here has a problem with anything that's being done or said, take it up with that individual privately. The forums are not a place for airing dirty laundry. Public accusations and insinuations have been deleted.

The times on the poster are correct - UK is on GMT +1 for summer and most of the rest of central Europe is on GMT +2. So the show is at 7.30pm in UK and 8.30pm in CET zone.

OK, as you can see, I've pulled a few of the posts out of here. This thread either stays on topic or it gets closed. If anyone has issues with what is being presented at Comedy Night, feel free to take it up directly with Cyan - not here on the forums.

Similarly, if anyone has issues with anyone else, you are welcome to take that up in PM's. The forum is not the place.

If anyone wants copies of their removed posts, you can PM me for them.

Let's keep it civil, please.
