Guild of Writers Meeting, 18 August 2007

Hawkin, Ushgarak -- I'll will gladly voice that all manner of explorers, whatever the skill set and experience, be invited to the Guild of Writers and treated with equal status. I also agree with Montgomery about pooling everyone of us together first, and then sorting us appropriately into subdivisions (if necessary) and project teams.

This topic is being adequately covered in the other discussion. So, please post any responses to this topic there.

As for the meeting -- see you there!

Edit: Upon attending the meeting I felt the majority in attendance shared these views already. For instance, we wouldn't have talked about "departments" if the only specialists admitted were to be the modellers, right? So, I held off making a big speech on this at this meeting. If necessary, I will do so in the next one.

I can't attend. But I would like to know if they intend to have a library of standard 3D Objects? Those of us who have access to 3D CAD tools can create standard objects like chairs, desks wutt evah and and submit them for use by age creators. Now back to work on my high speed anti gravity transport...

Yes, we are planing to build a library of objects, textures and sound files. Personally I like to have a library under a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creative_Commons license.
