Please, point me to a thread or article describing the bevin (neighborhood) creation process. I want to start a hood.

Jimmy,

All you need to do is push away (delete) your Hood book, then go to Nexus and create a new one

You can't. Notice that all the Bevins in existence (besides the DRC ones) *are* named "so-and-so's bevin"...

Don't think that can be done at this time. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Jimmy, create an avatar with the name you want for your hood and use that avatar to create the hood.

The reason you can't is to prevent griefing. It's easier to stop the "PlayerSUCKS" neighborhood from existing by tying that hood to an account which can be banned rather than to a name change which (I don't think) could be traced. And, of course, worse names would get knocked out by the word censor in the player creation area.

Here is another tip that involves either a helpful buddy online or two computers

Here is what you do if you have two computers:

1) Computer 1: Create an avi with the name of your preferred hood, get your KI and then go back to your newly created hood (make sure the hood book's lid is flipped open)
2) Computer 2: Log in with your preferred avi
3) Computer 1: Send an invite to the preferred avi
4) Computer 2: Visit new hood (make sure your own hood book is pushed back/deleted)
5) Computer 1: Invite the other avi to your Relto
6) Computer 2: Use the hood book and you will be a member
7) (Optional) now if you wish you could delete the "hood" avi

If you don't have two computers you need a helpful member of the community to become a member of your new hood (temporarily) and this person can make your other avi a member, then go back to their own hood.
