Dam annoying people. I hate the people who constantly ask random questions that have nothing to do with the story, forcing an important member to lag out :evil:

I think everyone has the right to ask any question at any time - it's understandable that people want to jump in when they can...Cate rarely makes public appearances! :roll:

Unfortunately work caused me to miss the whole thing....(stupid real life!! it's getting in the way of my virtual life! lol!) :wink:

Asking random questions is fine, it's just showing self control that is the issue.

Exactly. Many of the questions have already been answered or dodged, and definitely won't be answered by the DRC. It would be nice if people showed some more restraint in their questioning, since they can't answer everything the time shouldn't be wasted with questions they aren't going to answer. Many of those questions could be answered on the forums. How many questions have been asked about Esher, for instance?

I've been wanting to hear what Cate said. I heard about her appearance in Kirel and wondered what happened.

And somebody new already knows all the questions that will or won't be answered and of course all the answers given previously so they should just tushie out and let you oh so wise ones handle everything.

Is it a surprise there are crowds? If she appeared more often there won't be such a rush to see her and ask questions.

Why are there questions she won't answer?

She obvioulsy has never travelled on the london underground during the rush hour

That's not quite true. I have experienced visits from Cate where the explorers gave her space and time to answer questions and weren't just shouting over each other where she has actually extended her stay beyond what she had planned.

You can't really blame her leaving when there are people standing on top of her.

Actually she chose the venue and the location. As soon as she linked in, she headed to the bridge/walkway, turned and waited as people began to congregate. She could have easily continued to any larger area in Kirel. She is suppose to be a 'leader' also. She didn't ackowledge anyone with courtesies of Shorah, nor did she attempt to ask people to be quiet or lay out any ground rules as a leader should do as the crowd continued to quickly gather.

I agree, the bridge was just about the worst place for her to stop. But no one in the DRC tries to control the interaction, that isn't their purpose. They are there to convey the info that we all desperately want. My point is that the only thing we as a community can control is how we treat them. If we give them space and stop acting like it's our first interaction with other humans, they will stay longer and respond to more questions.
