I think this vote is void now, since Jishin is in Creative too. Would you start this one again, MJ?

She's not the only one nominated for multiple postions. If someone wins more than one election, they'll have to pick which one they prefer and we'll go from there.

This one's a mistake though, FB. She didn't want to stand for Personnel, which is why she's been added to Creative more recently.

The candidates have the final say Rusty, but your concern is appreciated.

I fully expect a little shakeout at the end of the election, but we might turn it into a excuse for a party.

Heya Rusty,

Actually, when I decided I'd accept nomination, I didn't specify for which office. I was actually nominated for both, and I was OK with that. I figured that the people in the Maintainers Supporters would choose the right place to put me if they wanted me there.

Now, I definitely have a personal preference for the Creative Department, but I'd be glad to serve as the temporary Personnel officer if they think someone else is more suitable for the Creative Department, or if my talents are better used in Personnel. Honestly, I'm just grateful that I was nominated; it was very kind of the folks who did.

Sorry I didn't post to clarify this sooner. :oops:

I've been avoiding reading these threads since I voted, as I still think voting is better as a private right, both for the voters and the nominees.
