Thank you all! It was an amazing tour. We are so sorry that it took so long. But in a way that is a good thing. So many good ideas.

Great pics! Someone PhotoShop me into the lower cave! haha I was dropping the pellets.

Kudos for the Echo effect Cyan!

We hope that all of you take this information and share it. And take your friends down into the cave, have another drop the pellets and enjoy!

I will be sending everyone a forum PM with links, but give us a few days. We want to pull all of our favorites to send to you.

I think that Ireen is trying to make arrangements to have the tours on video, but I will let her speak more about that.

I will post the March tour information in a few weeks.

Thanks again!

Ti'

The tours were fantastic. Very instructive, thought-provoking, and professionally organized too. Thanks again Ireen and Ti'chelle!

Thank you all for the nice comments and for posting the pics.
I am so glad you enjoyed the tour, as it was somewhat experimental for us as well. Thanks for all the contributions as well, great group.
Being in that cave with you guys and seeing the glyphs appear on the wall was the best. A very special moment Gives me she shivers (in a good way).

And great pics Christian.

Wow! My cave looks good. I wish we had done this sooner.

Thank you so much, Ireen and Ti'chelle, for a wonderful, informative tour. I wish I could have stayed for all of it, but next time I will know -- two hours, times two, lol. Drat, I bet I missed some really interesting stuff!

The pics are great, especially yours Christian. wow.

The tour was great! The idea of going to the bahro cave and actually see the glyphs instead of just watching them in the KI was brilliant. Let's hope that the March tour has less link problems though. *ehem*

(My 4 bugs in 15 minutes tour keeping everyone waiting:)
1. CTD
2. Ireen drops off my buddy list (But she basically just said "Go to Kemo" and I wanted to answer "Yes Ma'am" but couldn't. OH well... :P
3. Ti cannot see me when I get back into Kemo. "Helloooo?" *waves frantically*
4. Travel to UO and suddenly Ti has a default avatar.
What are the odds?
And thank you guys for the great pics. Although I can assure you lurkers that being there in person is way better. :D

Hiya. I have placed 5 pics in my gallery http://caverncommunicationsnetwork.com/ ... at=0&pos=0.
This is only a hand full of about 100 I took. These aren't the best samples as I am saving the best for something else.
This tour spurred me to but Myst 5, I should recieve it by the weekend. Thanks once again.
Take care
Szark

SUNDAY, MARCH 23 TOUR INFO

Shorah y'all. :D

Welcome to the Intermediate Bahro Glyph Tour. The next tour will be Sunday, March 23, 2008 at 18:00PM KI time. Please allow at least four hours for the tour. Please be aware that the US has already begun Daylight Saving Time and that the Europeans have not, so I leave it to each of you explorers to go look at the time of your KI and adjust to your own specific time zone. You can do it, you know you can.

Your hosts are ireenquench and Ti'chelle.

This tour will be Intermediate, dealing with the glyph to the right side of the Journey/Bahro Cave Door in Eder Kemo (EK7) and the question of how it is connected to the floating statue there. We will also touch on the glyphs in the amphitheatre area. Also, we will focus on the "Yeesha Story sequence" that is found in the glyphs of the final Bahro Cave that is linked to from Ahnonay. The lower cave with the pool of water that will light up the cave when a pellet is dropped from the cave above.

Please Note: Path of the Shell (PotS) and Myst V spoilers are included. So, please, if you have not completed Ahnonay or played Myst V, you will be hearing and seeing information from their stories.

We will be discussing the Glyphs mostly from an InCavern (IC) point of view, but this many not be so the whole time. Tour attendees are not required to be IC.

Please, when you sign up, leave your KI# along with your name. It is important to do this in advance so that KI pics, tour information and an invite to my Eder Kemo can be sent to everyone.

We will meet 15 to 30 minutes in advance of the tour in the Uru Obsession Bevin (please watch this thread in case this location should change). Then we will link to my Eder Kemo. This allows us to check that everyone has all the info. that they need, and to process any last minute explorers. Note: If you already have all of the info and pics and feel comfortable, please go ahead and link to my Kemo. Save a link or two.

The tour guides will use voice chat. There is a lot to tell, and we don't want to take longer hours because of the slow KI typing. You are welcome to use voice chat, but may also use text typing for your comments and questions.

This tour is based on independent explorer research by several explorers from different sources. DRC/Cyan nor GameTap are affiliated with this. They are just kind enough to allow us to use their facilities. And needed tech support.

This tour is limited to a maximum of 20 explorers, including your hosts. After you sign-up, please check back with this thread in case we need to make changes.

Looking forward to exploring with all of you!

If you have any questions, please ask. I will be checking on this thread everyday. You can also PM me if you need to. Or send me a KI mail.

Please be aware that the MOUL forums will be undergoing maintenance on Monday, March 17th and expected back up on Wednesday, March 19th, thus no access for a few days, so if you need information, want to sign-up or need to PM me, there will be posts about this tour on the UO forum and the GoG forum.
