Also did anyone got sounds working ? I think I did set some up correctly but no plWin32Static or Streaming Sound are exported just plAudioInterface and plWinAudible.

and did anyone got subworlds to work ?

I have to say a big thank you to Cyan for making this plugin available.
I don't think it's a small step at all. I think it's huge.

That being said I definitely agree:

It would be fantastic if Cyan also released a 3DS Max file of a sample age.

The wealth of options of the plugin (from models and animations to textures and python integration) would be much more comprehensible if you could look at the setup in a profesisonal age.

I just added some kinda crude documentation for the Plasma 3ds Max plugins at http://cho.cyan.com/bahrowings/PlasmaPlugins.doc

Sorry, it is kind of a mishmash of different sets of documentation, early Uru development, MYST V, yada yada yada. But it is better than a poke in the eye... I think. ;-)

Enjoy,
Chogon

That's quite the number of links to in.cyan.com >.>

Regardless, thank you, Mark, for putting that together.

Thats amazing Chogon.

Now the GoW have all the info I think they'll need for PyPrp 2.0

At first I thought it was an April fools day joke, but its not.

We've had all the info we'll need for PyPRP 2.0 for a very long time. The hold up is Blender, as we (the developers) have stated for a very long time.

And here i'm thinking Blender's modable menus was all that was left to do PyPrp 2, plus some clarification on the little tricks Cyan does within their plugin.

It's hard to get any useful work done when Blender 2.5's Python API changes almost daily.

What a gold mine of information - thanks, Mark!

One of the many things of note is the avatar standards table at the back. It confirms a lot of what we know already (e.g. ladder spacing, min/max avatar height), but it contains some surprises. "Monkey-bar spacing", for example.

I'm particularly fond of the component mentioned in that document titled "Unleash Satan", with a warning not to use it.

Hello everybody.

I've created a little site with some video tutorials on the 3D Max Plasma Plugin.
Right now there's something for beginners and more advanced users. I hope to add to it once or twice a month.
My goal is to cover the most important components from the plugin and give some advice on workflow issues.

Click here to go to the website

Have fun,
Stefan
