One of the things I've thought of doing in the past is trying to compile histories for some of the groups myself (with their permission and help, of course), and adding them as journals to some of the fan-created ages.
That would be awesome.
Some of these infos are hard to find when you have not been an active member of many or all groups.
Would you beleive that some people thought that my quest to find those kinds of old memories, told me that it was somewhat innapropriate(or unwanted ???) ?
Here is a quote from the Guild of Greeters site (+ other old guild masters at the link)...

The Guild of Greeters is a player group who were formed in 2003 by Ron Meiners who was the Myst community manager for Ubisoft at the time. He created a set of guidelines for the group which were approved by Ubisoft and Cyan Worlds before he recruited Tijara to head the group. Although Ron no longer has a part in the group, the Guild of Greeters have survived until today and are a part of Myst Online: Uru Live.
Retired Guild Masters at the GoG:
CAGrayWolf • Dave III • dugchugger • Estrelle • Jenny
LaReh • Rex Havoc • RR Caz • Shadowcats • shyone2051 • Terra • Twoaz1
Btw, the GoG were kind enough to let her keep her "GoG Staff" tag even though she has left.
Let's see if members of other groups, guilds and organisations are interrested in their origins/history.
