I am very curious,

Is there a legal way/secret on how to paste a link in a KI message ?

My KI did not accept the "=" key in a link. I was not able to help a new player. :(

Ctrl-V to paste. If the link doesn't paste right, use tinyurl.com to shorten it first.

Or, if it's a Myst-Uru Community site, it's likely in the rel.to directory and already has a shortcut link.

Thank you very much both of you.

OHB instruction works... except that my cookies setting are too hight for tinyurl.com. So a user has to use their link to get to the spoiler forum here.

The URL in the KI message was not clickable and I was enable to make a copy. (could not shadow it & copy)

The young explorer had difficulty following my explanations. I wanted him to check the Texana goodies'list in the spoilers forums. He never told me if he had made it but I guess my english was not good enough.

His avatar name is Mr Memories. If you ever see him you could try doing a better job than I did.

No the URLs are not clickable, he will have to have a chatlog running with /startlog.They are saved in ones documents folder under 'Uru Live\Log\'. Your URU live folder may be in a diffrent place if you are running on a Mac. Keep in mind that ony 4 logs can be saved and then 5th log will replce the oldest log.

Lower your cookie settings to normal. :-) Cookies are a basic virus-free safe and standard part of the world wide web. Don't be afraid of them.

Thank you for that very interresting suggestion Jamie.

Will keep it in mind for the futur. Not certain it would have help in this case because it took around one hour for him to put me on his budy list. lol

The problem with new explorers is that they are often in a big hurry and do not always like long instructions.

@Jamie Marchant.
I have an extra question on same subject.
Am I to understand that a copy of my KI message will appear in the log folder in my documents ?

Maybe I am a bit paranoid but after reading the page on this site I do not thrust cookies much...

Don't be paranoid. As the page says, cookies can only store things based on things you do, and they're only visible to the thing that created them. They're just part of what makes the web work.

I don't like cookies much either. But I also know that I can delete them (which I do on a regular basis). FireFox has an option to delete your browser history of the last hour(2 or 4)/day/entire time you used it.
