OpenUru Minkata Test Shard CURRENT STATUS

We should fix the client-not-being-up-to-date bug in minkata and submit that to cyan for the next update

Sorry, Mac - I tried all that, even in Administrator mode, and still got the same exact error message.

TOOO, I see that you're registered for the OpenUru.org forums. May I suggest that you join the conversation in the Minkata Shard Update Saturday November 16, 2013 thread there. Although Mac is very helpful and he's everywhere, there are more people on the OU forum who have already worked through many of these issues and one of them might have the answer you need.

You can still help out by logging in and reporting if you were successful or had issues. Every little bit helps.

Sorry, Mac - I tried all that, even in Administrator mode, and still got the same exact error message.

I was having repeated errors with the Minkata re-start after following the instructions as well.

What finally cleared it up was FORCING it to run in Administrator mode by right-clicking on the Minkata Shard icon and selecting the "Run as administrator" from that menu.

Hi folks,

OpenUru.org is down along with the host's own website and all their hosted domains. They suspect equipment failure – not an attack - and are working to restore service.

This also means our Minkata test shard will not be easily available until hosting service is restored.

It looks as if all OpenUru.org services were restored shortly after JW Platt's post - at least, I've not been finding any problems in the past 50 minutes or so
