I gave it another try deleting the corrupted marker game using WhoM. It worked. Don't know if it was because I deleted it from all my avatars in my account as opposed to deleting it from just my Lauritz avatar which I tried at first or if I just didn't do it right the first time. Anyway, all is good now.

In the past I've had this marker game problem come up if I tried to edit the game after I had already distributed copies to other players. I made a rule for myself that once the game was distributed, no more editing.
There's no general rule concerning the "breaking of one's marker game". I corrupted in the past my own private games just because it was ... sunny outside that day when I opened them! I hope I don't have to explain furthermore the matter here.
You know it's only a text file and it can get corrupted easily. The only way I know to get rid of them is by using WhoM. Do not bother Cyan with this. This is why you must always make a backup of your own game using the MarkerEditor.
With WhoM & MarkerEditor, you're in business!
