This is my first post in the forum, thus hello, greetings and Shorah.
Only recently I bought the Book of Atrus and Ti'ana issued in my language. Unfortunately, the Book of D'ni was omitted by the publisher.
Described in the books the story is interesting but sometimes I feel that I described places are very different from those that I know the game.

In the „Book of Atrus“ is a fragment that made me very intrigued.
Talking Gehn and Atrus, where Gehn uses the name „Myst“ in relation to Age 37!
Atrus wants to move from K’veer to Age 37, to conduct observations and help residents. The father does not agree.

"- No buts, Atrus - cut short Gehn. - The idea that you'll stay on Myst, alone, unattended, this is not an option. This is in conflict with my plans ... "

Whether in the original version of the book it is the same whether it is a problem of Polish edition?

From what I know, Myst wrote Ti'ana (and probably helped Catherine).

Shorah Kobresia and welcome to the MOUL forum.

You are correct, Catherine and Ti'ana wrote the book of Myst and it was not Age 37. I think maybe an error occurred in the translation. The sentence in English reads:

Gehn turned away. "No buts, Atrus. The notion of you being here on your own, unsupervised, is completely out of the question. It does not fit with my plans."

"Here" is the only reference to the location. However, a few sentences later, Atrus asks, "Why did you remove the Mist Wall if you were thinking simply of abandoning this Age?" Perhaps the mention of the mist wall caused some confusion to the editor.

Thanks Tai'lahr for dispel of doubts :)

Probably it was, as you say - interpreter lost topic and referred to the "mist", and the correction has not caught it. I was very surprised when I got to this place in the text.
However, the stories contained in both books, lit up a little darkness of the cave. More will I know when I'll read the Book of D'ni - and it will take a while, because poorly know English :(

I'll have a few other questions related to the imprisonment of Atrus in K'veer but that next time.
Thanks and Shorah!

Gehn never gave names to any of his Ages. He always called them by their number, which was in numeric sequence. Age 37 was the 37th Age he wrote, Age 5 was the 5th Age, and so on.

The name for his 5th Age -- Riven -- was what the natives called it, not Gehn.
