Hey all,

We've had a technical issue pop-up in house this morning, so we're going to be down for a bit today as we get this sorted out. I'm on it right now, things are looking up, but I'm afraid I don't have an ETA for a fix just yet.

Thanks for understanding.

We were able to get past the update screen for a little while, and we got through most of a tour before everyone suffered a network error, got booted, and then hit the update problem again when we tried to log back in.

Thanks for that much -- it was better than not being able to hold the tour at all and we appreciate the work you did to get it to hold together that long.

Went a fair bit longer than hoped, but we should be back up and running. Hardware failures are neato.

"Infant mortality" is a not uncommon issue with highly complex technical equipment. This is why it's often a good idea to have a "burn in" period before deploying mission critical hardware and software, though it can sometimes be difficult to do so under full load conditions until you've actually connected it...

In any event, I was able to login "early" this morning, and there are at least three others logged-in now. :)

I suspect not. The support server seemed to be the one that went out and that's not part of the server configuration that was recently updated. Technically, the support server isn't needed to play the game, but the current standard client will most likely fail (sometimes it doesn't) if that server doesn't respond. There is a fix for that in the pipeline.

Mike's heroics were to fix a problem with the network hardware at Cyan HQ, which I think the only web presence left running at at Cyan HQ is cho.cyan.com and the Cyan support site, which is where the status line comes from on the MOULa login screen, which affects MOULa login, which will be fixed in the next client update, whew!
BTW, the (new) MOULa servers are all at Amazon (AWS) and are running fine.

Thanks,
Chogon
