does anyone have (or know where to find) a copy of this picture with large enough resolution to actually read the text (translated or not):

I'm still with my nose into the screen while looking at it but you can make out the small letters.

Hmm, the "dnibig.jpg" states "Translations of Measurements by Gadren", so maybe you could just ask Gadren for a copy? :wink:

Or, ask BrettM if he knows more, found a very beautiful map on his photobucket:

Or, as a third alternative, just try to get The Book of Ti'ana (not the paperback), then you will get a printed map. Eventually from eBay if this book is no longer available.

And finally, if you are just interested in knowing more as you said, and not only want to have a big map, try this site:

there you can read a lot about what's on the map by clicking on the items or the links below the map.

@Jeremy: Others have pointed you to my large copy of Futographer's translated map and Jerle's large copy of the original map. But, I never knew about Gadren's version of the map! If you find a large copy of that, I'd like to add it to my collection as well. It looks very intriguing.

@Maratanos: It sounds like you are thinking of the site on the last link that Tach posted above, at fadedtwilight.org.

The original map was in the hardcover edition of MYST: The Book of Ti'ana, and Jerle's map is a scanned copy of that. The others are modified copies of the original.
