Nice ! And impressive. :) Gives an idea of vacation !

Speaking of caverns, La Verna may be worth checking out for undergrounds-addicts. It's a piece of the gigantic network of caves under the Pyrenees in France. The room itself is a collapsed waterbed, and one of the biggest caverns on Earth. Best part is, visits range from walking, strain-less tours to normal speleology.

While not as big as D'ni, in appearance this cavern is possibly the closest to it on Earth because of its spherical shape - most caverns are cracks which are long and deep but also very narrow.
And the size is still quite mind-blowing.

You probably guessed by now, but I've actually been there a few times. My father is in love with the area, so he actually dragged me into the speleology tours. The pitch-black 80-meters climb of the cavern's side is not something I'm about to forget :shock: :D

several such underground 'Cities' in that region!
