I've just had my first trip to Minkata. After running around for a whole I stumbled upon one of the caves with the menhir-like boulder with the Bahro carvings. Touching the menhir caused one of the dots to light up and upon climbing back out of the cave I noticed it was now night time.

I'm assuming there are at least three more of these to find and activate, but I don't really want to spend hours just running around looking for them. So, how and I supposed to locate these? I assume that the notebook with all the numbers next to the Minkata linking book has something to do with it but I don't really understand how I'm supposed to use the information.

Any hints and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers. :D

Most of the good stuff is not accessible any more.

If you meet some nice members ask them if they have markers missions to provide you with, or if they are available, to guide you to complete the age

If you look closely at the book beside the linking book in the library, you'll get some clues. There are numbers and a highlighted arrow...

Two videos with hints

Minkata
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiNo2mbruWM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3u7gJD ... 645037C768

Edit.
I just learned something new
Since the first link is part of many videos (uru live walkthrough) you do not need the to click the next link to see it. It will automatically play the next link(s) from one to the other.

Btw,
The first video of Uru Live
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnYqVi9 ... 645037C768
See you.

edit #2
added a "not" to you need ==> you do not need...
My bad. Sorry

You can also find maps for Minkata kivas, on my cloud (look in my signature).

For some maps to find the Minkata Kivas, take a look at this folder of my Cloud*.
Also, feel free to use any idea from this folder* for MO:UL (currently 2 ideas).
*Cloud: You can double-clic on a file to open it.

The member who created this visual guide could have added the names of the "star clusters" for the night's glyph symbol" 8)

exambles:
hole # 1 = the Z constellation
hole # 2 = the Irwin constellation
hole # 3 = Butterfly constellation
hole # 4 = Urwin constellation

As a minor spoiler you can use the Minkata Calculator I made some time ago. However, to find the way to a kiva you still need to insert the correct data in it

Good news !
The bigger circumferences constellation are the direction of the kivas while the smaller inside are the direction for getting the floating glypht symbols

I have found Kierra's Minkata map on an old external drive

I would suggest that one of the surveyors (Nat ?) add a bit more informations on that map,
1- the # of the kevas
2- the running time for each run, starting from the hut
3- the hole with thje sparkly of the month
4- the hole with the boots
etc, etc as they please

Not really for first-timers, but there is a Minkata guide using landmarks here:
http://www.guildofsleepers.org/minkata- ... ayers.html
Not sure if you can handle it, as you need to understand the notebook first to use that guide.

P.S: To make my maps, I put markers at stategic points, I exported the marker game, and then I used the markers coords as pixels coords while creating the maps; finaly, I added the other pictures and the lines.

There's also a little technique...

[Reveal] Spoiler:
If you switch over to night Minkata, and study the horizon long enough, you CAN eventually see tiny yellow discs, which are created by the light coming out from the open kivas. Then, it's just a straight walk to them.

I think this technique is depending of the graphic card we are using, of this kind of things.
On my computers, this technique don't works.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
there's no tiny yellow discs for me

TCB is right.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
During MOUL, I could see a white line on each kiva at night. But I got a new system before MOULa returned and was disappointed to discover I could no longer cheat my way through Minkata.
